  • We generally follow Fulton County School's calendar and local elementary school calendars, and offer day camps when school is out. 

  • Day camp drop-off begins at 8:30 am and pick-up is at 4:30pm. Extended hours are available (8:00am-5:30pm). 

  • Please send students with two snacks, water bottle and a packed lunch.

Campers explore the difference between weather and climate. We investigate types of clouds, construct a weather balloon, and see who can design the best umbrella structure to withstand a heavy downpour.

Extreme Weather

Learn what it takes to be a meteorologist. We investigate the science behind extreme weather, design buildings to withstand severe weather in a STEM challenge, investigate flood barriers, and create a barometer to measure the atmospheric pressure.

Science is everywhere, and autumn is no exception. During this Fall-inspired camp we look at plant cells to see why leaves turn colors, experiment with different ways to open pumpkins to investigate what is inside, and conduct a chemistry experiment to make our pumpkins puke!

Think Astronomy is only for night owls? Campers investigate how to safely observe the sun using scientific tools, create and use a sundial, and see what celestial objects we can find in the day sky.

How much do you know about the planet we live on? Campers investigate the science of planet Earth from the layers that make it up, to why it has a magnetic field. We explore a pendulum to prove that the earth rotates, and discover how it can that can help you tell time.

  • Monday - What are Waves? - Campers investigate what sound, light, and the ocean all have in common.

  • Tuesday - Music and Sound Science - We create sounds with everyday objects, and study how sound waves move through different materials.

  • Wednesday - How Instruments Work - We design and experiment with different types of instruments to discover how they create beautiful music.
