Experiments with Elements is an after-school science enrichment program aimed at children interested in conducting experiments and learning about chemistry. Each class, developed by scientists and educators, includes knowledge development and hands-on learning activities. Every week we cover a new topic, including an introduction to the periodic table (yes, kindergarteners can learn about the periodic table!), experimenting with simple (and safe) reactions, and understanding the chemistry of slime. Location: Northwood Elementary
